First Grub for the Chubs

As of late our sweet Izabelle has been quite fussy in the evenings. I have come to figure out that she is probably hungrier than I think. This brings us to her first experience with rice cereal. Not all babies like cereal (Lacey's, no surprise there:), and was not sure how our Izzy would fare. Well lets let the pictures speak for themselves.

I think we were more excited than she was...

First taste and not quite sure is she likes it. Hmmm...one more taste she thinks.

Except for the natural reflex of her tongue most of it stayed in, Way to go Izzy Girl!(Cheers from Mom and Dad throughout)

All finished...
Chad- "Look at her stomach! The snaps are busting! Jeez Chubba!"

Food is fun. I remember giving Ava a little rice cereal. We had the video camera rolling. she didn't like it and then decided not to like any baby food. She wanted people food instead. Little bits of bread, fruit, and green beans. We also learned early on that if you skip one of these little mini meals she will wake up starving in the middle of the night.....who knew?

We had the same experience as Sara. Once we started rice cereal you can never go back to just bottles!! Maya loved all the baby food! It is so fun to see there faces when you try new foods! She really is so cute!

I am certain I have the babies that go against the norm. That said, I am not a good standard. So, Izzy looks like she liked it- a picture say a million things. Especially that she is still so cute.

Cute! Mandy just had to start giving The Sofa cereal too because she had such a fit when everyone else ate!
