So BIG!

She LOVES to sit up! I tell her "What a big girl!" and she smiles and coos. Way cute!

She was suppose to be napping...instead party in the crib!

Yeah Baby Bjorn

So Chad wears Izzy down to the Farmer's market while I am at work. People he doesn't even know take pictures of him! Thanks Lacey for the Baby Bjorn, we use it ALL the time!

I've been tagged...

Thanks Lacey!

1. Where did I meet my husband?
Here in Grand Junction at the singles ward.

2. What was the first thing you said to your husband?
Tap, tap, tap (on the shoulder), "Do you guys have dinner plans?"(speaking to my husband Chad and his brother Ryan). I had planned on several for Sunday dinner and 2 people were unable to come last minute. I was in Relief Society and knew they were new and VERY shy.

3. Where was your first date?
More like an outing. We went exploring in Gilman, CO an abandoned town with his brothers and sister-in-law. Not something I would normally have done, it was exciting. Followed by the Halloween dance, of which my husband did not come in costume nor did he dance!

4. Where was your first kiss?
In my apartment after the Halloween dance. It is up for debate who kissed who! I KNOW he kissed me thgouh.

5. Did you have a long or short courtship/engagement?
I think pretty typical for LDS people? We started dating Halloween, engaged Feb 2nd and married June 10th.

6. Where did you get engaged?
Again, in my apartment. We were watching movies. He was so nervous. I see his face in my mind and it still melts my heart!

7. Where did you get married?
In the temple in Monticello, Utah

8. How did the reception go?
We didn't really have one that day. We had 23 for a nice sit down lunch, and away we were on the honeymoon! It was PERFECT to me! A week later there was an "open house" for my husband's side.

9. How was the Honeymoon?
The BEST! We went to Crested Butte, Colorado. It is beautiful there! We stayed in a very nice Inn and Spa. We still talk about it, and wonder if others' honeymoons were as wonderful as ours...probably not! :)

OK, I tag...
My cousin Michele Delvin,
cousin Sara Paske, and
friend Kelli

Blessing Day

New Toy for Izzy...or for Mom and Dad?

Believe it or not she really likes it! Ok, I like it too! I was hoping that she can hang out in this while I'm in the kitchen or outside. We'll see if she continues to like it?

Nasty Green Eyed Monster

So my poor baby woke up last night looking like a green eyed monster. As if she could feel any worse now she has an eye infection as well. Another trip to the doctor for antibiotic ointment. Let's hope this is the last of the ailments.

Sick Izzy B

I had no idea what effect a sick baby does to your nerves, motherhood is such a roller coaster. The day we returned from our trip to Kentucky Izzy started to get sick. A usually easy going, sleepy, and happy baby became very fussy, cranky and uncomfortable. After taking her to the doctor they determined that she was at an age where sitting up after she ate was necessary to keep from getting an upset tummy (never addressing the other symptoms she was having). To make a long story short, after a trip to Docs on Call and X-rays Izzy has Bronchialitis. She is doing so much better with a little Tylenol and a nebulizer of Abuterol (above). Her Mommy in turn is also much better!

More pictures of our Babe

Lacey Help!

So what are those dumb little tools on my side bar??

How can I blog like you? (Can you hear the whine?) Since you're my "Yoda", I want to invert a picture in the middle of my text, not the top. You need to teach me your tricks so my blog looks cool too!

Dry Run

It's only a couple of weeks away before we bless Izabelle so....I thought we should try her dress on her! This beautiful dress came from my Great Aunt Gwen. Who picked it up for me in China Town in San Fransisco. Aren't I lucky! Izzy was not so jazzed for her Mom to be playing dress up when she does not feel well (hence no bonnet).

Funny note- When the dress arrived Chad said "It's just a little long (it's 3 ft at least:), do you think we should hem it?". My cute husband did not realize that it how it is suppose to be!
